The Hoop Tales Podcast presents Josh Powell discussing his career with hosts Kyle Hines, Tyler Hines, and Mike Martin. The two-time NBA champion walked through the journey that took him to five continents over his 14-year career, including playing alongside Kyle Hines for Olympiacos during the 2012-13 season.
“There is no atmosphere like EuroLeague,” pointed out Powell recalling his stint in Europe’s premier competition with the Reds, “I have been in Finals, in big games, Game 7, in whatever you like to call it. I have never been in an environment like EuroLeague or the whole environment in Greece between Panathinaikos and Olympiacos.”
The Hoop Tale guest contributed to the 2013 EuroLeague title with 5.1 points and 2.7 rebounds per contest.
Hines, 33, pinched in remembering various crazy experiences from matches between arch-rivals, Olympiacos, and Panathinaikos.
