The South Sudanese-Australian Louisville alumni Mangok Mathiang has received offers from AS Monaco and the New Zealand Breakers with Galatasaray and Cedevita Olimpija interested as well, according to Eurohoops sources.
No decision yet for the 27-year-old center regarding his future following a couple of solid campaigns in Italy and Turkey, as the options he is considering include Turkish Airlines EuroLeague teams.
Turkey’s Super Ligi was home for Mathiang during his second season in Europe. He put up 12.7 points, 10.6 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.4 blocks, and 1.1 steals per BSL match with Bahcesehir. His 2019-20 run also included 12.3 points and 11.2 rebounds per FIBA Europe Cup contest.
Despite going undrafted in 2017, he competed in four NBA games with the Charlotte Hornets gaining healthier playing runs with the G League affiliate, the Greensboro Swarm. He went on in Europe joining Vanoli Cremona for the 2018-19 season.
