Timofey Mozgov has suffered another injury after being ruled out due to his knee injury before joining Khimki. The Russian center did not play in Turkish Airlines EuroLeague nor the VTB United League during the 2019-20 season and was set for his long-awaited comeback when the 2019-20 season was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Russian club counted him in to return for next season, though according to Eurohoops sources, he is expected to miss four to six months of action en route to his recovery.
That being said, Khimki will probably have to sign another big man to cover for its center position, even though they are close to re-signing Devin Booker to a contract extension for the next two seasons.
