Per Eurohoops sources, Olympiacos is signing 31-year-old point guard/shooting guard Charles Jenkins, who will arrive at the team from Crvena Zvezda, where he spent the 2019-20 season.
Jenkins, in his second stint with Zvezda, posted an average of 3.4 points, 2.2 rebounds in 18 minutes on the court across 23 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games prior to the season cancellation.
Following the news of Olympiacos‘ interest in Alex Poythress for the PF/C spot, the team now also focuses on its wing, with the three strongest candidates for that position being Aaron Harrison, Marcus Denmon, and Ryan Broekhoff.
Broekhoff has worked with coach Giorgos Bartzokas before in Lokomotiv Kuban during the 2015-16 season, while he spent the previous two seasons with the Dallas Mavericks, averaging 4 points across 59 games.
Harrison spent the last two campaigns with Galatasaray and posted an average of 15.9 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.8 assists in 16 7DAYS EuroCup games during the 2019-20 season.
As for Denmon, he made his EuroLeague debut in 2017 with Panathinaikos, while he played for Zhejiang Chouzhou in the CBA for the past two seasons, averaging 28.4 points, 6.5 assists και 5.1 rebounds this past one.
