Charles Jenkins is the new member of Olympiacos, as his agent, Misko Raznatovic confirmed via Twitter. The initial tweet was erased after some minutes, however Eurohoops sources confirm that there’s a done deal.
The former member of the Golden State Warriors has a long European career under his belt, since 2013 when he first crossed the Atlantic to join Crvena Zvezda.
He has also played for AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milan and Khimki Moscow. In Russia, he met with coach Giorgos Bartzokas and the two of them will be reunited in Olympiacos.
Jenkins has signed a two-year deal with Zvezda last summer, but the club released him in order to join Olympiacos.
He has already a reputation as a lock-down defender. However, he is also averaging 6.7 ppg, while shooting a more than respectable 40.5% in threes during his EuroLeague career, even if things were not going his way last season when he made just 2/27 threes.
