Crvena Zvezda mts is very close to inking Jordan Loyd to a one-year contract, according to Eurohoops sources.

The 26-year-old American guard is coming off a solid Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut season, despite his shortened 2019-20 run due to the coronavirus pandemic. He averaged 11.1 points, 2.4 assists, and 1.9 rebounds per contest with Valencia.

Prior to joining the Spanish club, Loyd was crowned NBA champion in 2019 with the Toronto Raptors. He scored 2.4 points over 12 regular season appearances as a member of the lone Canadian NBA organization.

The combo guard also played in Israel for Hapoel Eilat during the 2017-18 season. The Fort Wayne Mad Ants and the Raptors 905 of the G League generate the rest of his professional experience.
