Olympiacos is very close to finalizing an extension deal with Sasha Vezenkov. Coach Georgios Bartzokas had suggested to the front office that it is important for the squad to keep the 25-years old forward.
Vezenkov has been with Olympiacos for the past two years and this past season, he’s been averaging seven points and two rebounds in under 14 minutes over 26 EuroLeague games.
The Bulgarian big man has been considered one of the top shooters in Europe and he proved that by significantly improving his three-point shooting, from 32.6% to 45.9%. He went viral recently after the security cameras caught him banking 98-103 threes in the gym during shooting practice.
Olympiacos has slowly been working on the roster for the upcoming season. THey’ve also kept Georgios Printezis while bringing in Aaron Harrison and Charles Jenkins.
