Anadolu Efes parted ways with Alec Peters, the Turkish powerhouse announced on Tuesday.
Peters, 25, moved to the Istanbul-based club last summer inking a one-year contract. The 2019-20 season, his second in Europe, was shortened by the coronavirus pandemic.
The American forward, 54th pick of the 2017 NBA draft coming out of Valparaiso, posted 4.2 points, and 2.1 rebounds per Turkish Airlines EuroLeague match with Efes. He also had11.3 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per BSL game.
Peters took part in 20 NBA games with the Phoenix Suns during the 2017-18 season and heavily appeared in the G League transferred to the Northern Arizona Suns. Afterward, he joined CSKA Moscow for the 2018-19 season.
