Olympiacos exercised opt-out options included in the contracts of Wade Baldwin, Dwight Buycks, Brandon Paul, and Ethan Happ, the Greek powerhouse announced on Tuesday.
Happ, 24, was picked up last summer but spent the majority of the shortened 2019-20 season on loan at Vanoli Cremona. He appeared in one Turkish Airlines EuroLeague match before posting 18.3 points per LBA Serie A contest.
Paul, 29, was also signed last summer. The Illinois alum poured 8.6 points, 2.9 rebounds, 1.3 assists, and 0.8 steals per EuroLeague match over 27 appearances.
Baldwin, 24, debuted in Europe’s premier club competition with the Reds and put up 5.5 points per game alongside 1.8 assists and 1.8 rebounds.
Buycks, 31, joined Olympiacos in February. He played in three EuroLeague games prior to the suspension due to the coronavirus pandemic and averaged 5 points per match.
