Shavon Shields is signing a two-year deal with Olimpia Milano after reaching an agreement with Baskonia for his contract termination according to Eurohoops sources. The American swingman will be returning to Italy where he previously played with Aquila Trento.
Shields, who just won the 2020 ACB championship with Baskonia, will be the seventh new acquisition of Milano so far in the 2020 offseason. The Italian side has signed Davide Moretti, Malcolm Delaney, Kyle Hines, Kevin Punter, Gigi Datome plus prospect Giordano Bortolani.
In 2019-2020, Shields averaged 9.5 points plus 3.4 rebounds in 25:21 minutes over 26 games in EuroLeague and 11.6 points, 4.0 rebounds in 26:53 minutes over 27 ACB games.
