After parting ways with Olympiacos, Wade Baldwin is now close to signing a deal with Bayern Munich, according to Eurohoopsnet sources.
The 24-year-old guard experienced the European basketball for the first time this past season, playing in 24 EuroLeague games for Olympiacos. He averaged 5.5 points, 1.8 assists, and 1.8 rebounds in 18 minutes of play.
Before arriving in Europe, Baldwin played in the NBA with the Memphis Grizzlies and Portland Trail Blazers as well as in the G League with the Iowa Wolves and Texas Legends.
According to Bayern, no decision about the future of the team will be taken before the 15th of July, so until then, the deal is not expected to be formalized.
