With the Spanish League Final Tournament in the books, Barcelona is now officially in the offseason and working on the roster for the upcoming campaign which will be led by coach Sarunas Jasikevicius.
As the club announced, one of the names that won’t be present in the Lithuanian expert’s squad is Ante Tomic who bid farewell to Barcelona via Twitter.
“These were eight great years at Barca. I enjoyed it every day! I played with incredible players and I am behind each one of them in life and on the court. I worked with incredible people, you do not know their names, they do not earn millions but they make Barcelona ‘more than a club’. Thanks culers!” Tomic wrote.

Tomic has been wearing the Barcelona jersey since 2012 and served as the squad captain in recent years. They’ve won four Spanish Cups and one Spanish League together.
The 33-year-old Croatian center averaged 7.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists over a total of 59 games with Barcelona this past season.
