Kevin Pangos parted ways with Barcelona on Sunday after the end of their two-year contract and now the Canadian guard is ready for the next stop in his career. According to Eurohoops sources, he is close to signing a two-year deal with Zenit St. Petersburg.
Pangos has received many lucrative offers from EuroLeague clubs including Panathinaikos, Crvena Zvezda and Valencia, but so far no other team could beat Zenit’s offer.
Pangos spent most of the 2019-20 season out due to a foot injury, while in his first year with Barcelona he averaged 7 points and 3.2 assists across 35 EuroLeague games.
