Zach LeDay has decided to exercise his opt-out clause at Zalgiris and the word is that he will sign a two-year deal with Olimpia Milano.
LeDay has played in three different countries in his first three professional seasons, all in Europe, and will now move to Italy as the fourth.
He started off in Israel with Hapoel Gilboa Galil where he was named to the All-Israeli League Team. Next up was a season with Olympiacos before finally joining Zalgiris. He was an All-Star in both Israel and Greece.
The 26-year-old American center averaged 11.8 points and 4.7 rebounds over 28 EuroLeague games with Zalgiris this past season.
He had similar numbers in the Lithuanian League in which Zalgiris was proclaimed champion and he helped the team win the King Mindaugas Cup.
