Zenit St. Petersburg keeps up its structure for the next season and is signing Alex Poythress to a one-year deal, according to Eurohoops sources. The 26-year-old power forward/center will be moving to Russia from Galatasaray, with which he spent the 2019-20 season.
Poythress posted an average of 13.6 points and 7.1 rebounds in seven 7DAYS EuroCup game this past season, while he has been on the radar of more EuroLeague teams. Panathinaikos made a good run to sign him, while he was also on Olympiacos’ radar, though he is finally headed to Zenit for the next season.
