Barcelona announced the addition of Nick Calathes with a three-year deal Thursday, confirming Eurohoops’ prior reports.
Calathes exited Panathinaikos early in July after eight seasons with the Greens, despite having a contract with the team that was valid through 2021. During his time with the Greek team, the Greek American player won six Greek championship titles.
The 31-year-old guard paced the Greens with an average of 13.3 points, 9.1 assists, and 4.9 rebounds across 28 EuroLeague games during the 2019-20 season, prior to its cancelation due to the coronavirus outbreak.
