Fenerbahce Beko is signing center Johnathan Hamilton to a 1+1 deal according to Eurohoops sources. The 26-year-old Trinidadian player is opting out of his contract with Darussafaka Tekfen with which he spent the 2019-2020 season.
By joining Fenerbahce, Hamilton will play in EuroLeague for the first time in his career.
In 2019-2020, his debut year in Europe and second in his career overall, Hamilton averaged 11.3 points and 8.1 rebounds in 28:16 minutes over 15 EuroCup games plus 8.4 points and 6.5 rebounds in 24.05 minutes over 21 games of the Turkish BSL League.
Fenerbahce, under new head coach Igor Kokoskov, has so far officially signed forward DyShawn Pierre and forward Edgaras Ulanovas.
