Barcelona held a press conference today (July 10) at which Nick Calathes was presented and while answering various questions, the board member responsible for basketball in Joan Balde i Marsal denied that the club was in any negotiations with Pau Gasol:
“There has not been and will not be any negotiations with Pau Gasol,” he said, per Catradio Esports.
However, despite the denial by Joan Balde, Eurohoops stands by its sources and the earlier report which stated that Pau Gasol is near an agreement in principle with Barcelona for a one-year deal as well as that the deal is expected to get finalized later in the summer.
