Crvena Zvezda continues assembling the squad for the upcoming season that will be led by coach Sasa Obradovic and one of the pieces will be Marko Simonovic, according to Nova.rs.
Simonovic had two stints with Crvena Zvezda in the past, 2012-2014 and 2015-2017, and he won two ABA League titles, two Serbian League titles as well as three Serbian Cups. He was named All-ABA League Team in 2017.
He won two silvers with the Serbian national team – at the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympics.
This past season, the 34-year-old forward played this past season for Cedevita Olimpija averaging 10.3 points and 3.9 rebounds. His three-point percentages in the ten 7DAYS EuroCup games were impressive, reaching 50%.
He finished the season in Spain with Unicaja Malaga and played six games with the Spaniards in the domestic league.
