Tibor Pleiss renewed his contract with Anadolu Efes, the Turkish club announced on Sunday. The contract extension will run for two seasons with an option for an additional season.
The 30-year-old German center moved to Turkey penning a 1+1 contract in 2018. A couple of years forward he secured a 2+1 contract extension.
With his sixth Turkish Airlines EuroLeague side competed in 65 more games of Europe’s premier club competition. He previously made 151 appearances between Bamberg, Baskonia, Barcelona, Galatasaray, and Valencia.
The EuroLeague veteran earned himself NBA experience with the Utah Jazz during the 2015-16 season but returned to Europe the following season extending his lengthy and solid EuroLeague run.
The 2019-20 season, shortened by the coronavirus pandemic, saw Pleiss average 9.5 points and 4.3 rebounds per EuroLeague match, and 11.4 points per BSL contest.
Other offseason re-signed players for Efes include Rodrigue Beaubois, Chris Singleton, and Bugrahan Tuncer.
