Anadolu Efes has reached an agreement with Sertac Sanli and will re-sign him on a 1+1 contract, according to Eurohoops sources. The official announcement is expected soon.
The 28-year-old Turkish center is coming off two straight seasons with the Turkish powerhouse. He went up to 7.0 points and 2.2 rebounds per Turkish Airlines EuroLeague game last year until the decision to cancel the bottom end of the season due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The BSL ended prematurely as well, the Turkey national team regular managed to post 7.8 points and 4.7 rebounds per match at the domestic level over 23 appearances.
Before moving to Efes in 2018, the 2.13m big man went through a couple of seasons with Besiktas. Trabzonspor, Usak Sportif, Gaziantep, Galatasaray, and Tofas mark the rest of his teams in Turkey’s top division since 2010.
