Crvena Zvezda officially announced the signing of forward Marko Simonovic on Monday, who will be returning to the club for his third stint. The 34-year-old player spent this past season with Cedevita Olimpija averaging 10.3 points and 3.9 rebounds, while he also briefly played for Unicaja.
Simonovic had played for Crvena Zvezda twice in the past, 2012-2014 and 2015-2017, and he helped the team win ABA League titles, two Serbian League titles and three Serbian Cups. He was named All-ABA League Team in 2017.
