As FC Bayern Munich officially confirmed today, Andrea Trinchieri is the new coach of the club. Details and the length of his contract were not announced.
The 52-years old Trinchieri returns to Germany, where he coached Brose Bamberg for three seasons and re-unites with sports director Daniele Baiesi.
Trinchieri is considered an established coach in Europe, coming from a good season with Partizan Belgrade.
As he said: “I am really happy and proud to be part of FC Bayern, one of the largest sports clubs in the world, because of its tradition to be successful at the highest level. I don’t want to say big words and who promises a lot gives little. But what I can say and promise is that we will be extremely committed and dedicated and will work. There is a lot of work ahead of us, but to be honest: this is the perfect challenge”.
