TD Systems Baskonia was hit by the coronavirus prior to training camp with one positive result, the Spanish team announced on Sunday.
The Turkish Airlines EuroLeague and ACB outlet’s press release informs that tests conducted on Friday returned a positive result for a member of the senior team.
According to health protocols, players and coaches were not in contact upon their arrival and up to the PCR tests.
The person testing positive is asymptomatic, in good health, and quarantined, as additionally noted by Baskonia.
He will be tested again in a few days to determine whether he can join the preseason practices scheduled to start next Monday, August 10.
