Barcelona announced that the club has renewed the contract with Leandro Bolmaro for the next three seasons, until the summer of 2023.
The soon-to-be 20 years old prospect will be a part of the first team for which he played a total of 17 matches this past season including six in EuroLeague.
Bolmaro joined Barca back in 2018 and played for the B team where he averaged 10.4 and 14.9 points respectively in the past two seasons.
“I am very happy with the confidence that the club has given me, very excited about the renewal. I will try to do my best to earn a place in the team, to have minutes, and earn the respect of the coaches, the players, and the fans,” Bolmaro said and added. “When I came to Barcelona everything was new, different, a new country, a new culture, it took me getting used to it, but I really like Barcelona, Catalonia and now I am enjoying living here and playing for one of the most important clubs in the world.”
