CSKA Moscow started its preparations for the new season, even though head coach Dimitris Itoudis remains in Greece as he continues to recover from COVID-19. Itoudis addressed his players in their first get-together on Saturday via video conference.
The Army Team is scheduled to play in a pre-season tournament in St. Petersburg joined by Zenit St Petersburg, Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar and UNICS Kazan on September 11 and 12.
Their pre-season schedule will then continue with the Alexander Gomelsky Cup, which CSKA will host and participate with Lokomotiv, Panathinaikos OPAP Athens and Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade, on September 17-18.
