FC Bayern Munich is in talks with Petteri Koponen to terminate their contract, as Bayern sports director Daniele Baiesi confirmed he is not part of the team’s plans for next season, per reports by Robert Heusel.
Koponen joined Bayern in 2018 with a three-year deal and posted an average of 6.8 points (50% from the three-point line) and 1.5 rebounds across 24 EuroLeague games during the 2019-20 season.
During his time in Munich, Koponen helped Bayern win the 2019 German BBL championship.
