Derrick Williams will stay out of action in the fist preparation game of Valencia, which his team won 94-82 over Joventut.
Per the press release: Valencia Basket power forward Derrick Williams has not been able to participate in the last practice sessions due to discomfort in the calf of his left leg that will prevent him from participating in tonight’s game vs. Club Joventut Badalona.
After being examined again yesterday by the head of the Valencia Basket medical services, Dr. Nacho Muñoz, it is confirmed that Williams suffers from a fibrillar tear in the left soleus. His return to training will depend on the evolution of the injury.
