Alec Peters scored 22 points on 4-6 triples and grabbed six rebounds as Baskonia defeated Estudiantes 82 – 78 in a preseason game that took place in Madrid.
Rokas Giedraitis (19 points) and Achille Polonara (13 points) had key contributions to Baskonia‘s win. The Basque side also saw Luca Vildoza (six points, six assists) returning to action following a nose fracture and Zoran Dragic making his preseason debut.
Aleksa Avramovic had 23 points for Estudiantes while Alec Brown finished with 21 points.
Baskonia will next play Real Madrid Thursday (3/9). The latter prevailed over Real Betis in a game noted for 17-year-old Tristan Vukcevic’s debut with the senior team.
In another preseason game among Spanish teams that took place Wednesday, Valencia downed Unicaja Malaga 90 – 75 thanks to Fernando San Emeterio (15 points) and Bojan Dubljevic (13 points, five rebounds).
