Real Madrid plans to retain Facundo Campazzo until the NBA call arrives and keep his salary towards the payment of the NBA buyout clause included in his contract, according to AS.
Campazzo, 29, has been reported as an attractive target for NBA teams, including the strongly interested Dallas Mavericks. However, he should pay $5.275M out of the $6M buyout on his current contract to complete a potential move.
The latest report regarding his future notes that the Argentinian forward will stay with the Whites until he receives an NBA offer and potentially until the end of the 2020-21 season if for whatever reason he is unable to make the NBA jump prior to the conclusion of the upcoming campaign.
