Anadolu Efes continued strongly in its preparations for the upcoming season with a new win, this time around an 88-64 win against Galatasaray Doga Sigorta in Gloria Cup Tournament I.
Vasilije Micic led the effort with 13 points and nine assists while Bryant Dunston and Tibor Pleiss followed with 12 points each. Pleiss also grabbed eight boards.
For Galatasaray, Ayberk Olmaz scored 15 in addition to Daryl Macon Jr’s 12 and Ragip Berke Atar’s ten points.
While the first half was close with Efes leading minimally (40-39), the board control (30-19) and turnover ratio were crucial as Efes dominated the second half 48-25 and cruised to victory.
