Howard Sant-Roos spent two years in Greece with AEK and after a short stint with CSKA, he’s back but this time around he will wear the jersey of Panathinaikos.
“I am definitely happy to be back in Greece and to be here again. I love the country very much and I love its people as well. It’s very warm,” the 29-year-old Cuban told Eurohoops and noted that it’s very important to him to play in EuroLeague.
“It’s very important for me. Ever since I started playing basketball in Europe, my main goal has been to play in the Euroleague. Now that I am here, it is almost unbelievable and I feel like it is a huge step, especially now when I am 29 years old, at my peak. It’s one of the best feelings I could have.”
