Five players scored in double figures for Anadolu Efes as the team crushed Galatasaray 97 – 63 in the third-place game of the TUBAD preseason tournament.
Vasilije Micic and Tibor Pleiss scored 13 points each while Krunoslav Simon provided 12 points, six rebounds and six assists. Bryant Dunston had 12 points and Dogus Balbay 10 points plus six assists. The winning side was minus star guard Shane Larkin.
Johnnathan Williams (13 points, five rebounds) and Daryl Macon (13 points) were the top performers for Galatasaray that fell behind early, never to recover. Efes, that was coming off a loss to Darussafaka, grabbed a 30 – 16 lead at the end of the first quarter and remained in total control.
