Max Heidegger has officially joined Maccabi Tel Aviv, as it was announced Tuesday.
The 23-year-old rookie guard arrives at Israel from UC Santa Barbara, where he averaged 16 points, 2.4 rebounds and 3.2 assists during the 2019-20 season.
“Maccabi continues to invest in young players with great potential to play at the highest levels. Therefore, we are very happy to have Max Heidegger in the Maccabi family,” stated coach Giannis Sfairopoulos upon the signing. “He is a talented player with potential and we are investing in him also because of his shooting ability. This is a great opportunity for him to learn European basketball and start competing at the highest level.”
