Major move for Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv with Dragan Bender returning to replace Quincy Acy, reports Nemanja Zoric.

The deal will be for three months and an option for the rest of the 2020-21 season, per Moses Barda. The short-term contract allows the Croatian big to consider potential NBA avenues in December, also prompts the possibility of Acy reuniting with Maccabi further down the season.

Bender, 22, spent his last four seasons in the NBA and G League after concluding his first stint with the Yellows. A total of 187 NBA appearances between the Phoenix Suns, Milwaukee Bucks, and Golden State Warriors later, he is en route for a comeback.

Acy, 29, signed a one-year deal with Maccabi last summer and did not agree on terms regarding him staying for a second season. His Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut season was marked with 4.8 points and 3.5 rebounds per game over 27 appearances.

The current Maccabi roster is highlighted by the likes of Scottie Wilbekin, Ante Zizic, Omri Casspi, Tyler Dorsey, and Elijah Bryant.
