Jordan Loyd scored 26 points and Corey Walden added 23 points as Crvena Zvezda defeated fellow Serbian club Borac 99 – 78 in a preseason game. This was the eight consecutive preseason victory for Red Star in an equal number of games.
Nikola Kocovic was Borac’s top scorer with 17 points.
Bayern Munich was another EuroLeague side that gave a preseason match Saturday. Andrea Trinchieri’s players blew away Gottingen (also a German BBL team) 95 – 66 behind Paul Zipser’s 19 points.
Wade Baldwin (14 points) and Jalen Reynolds (11 points) also scored in double figures for the Bavarian squad.
