Keifer Sykes has arrived in Athens as a player of Turk Telekom for the Basketball Champions League Final Eight, but he will remain in the Greek capital as a member of Panathinaikos.
There’s a deal in place between the Greek club and Sykes who finished last season as a member of Olimpia Milan and he returns to the EuroLeague.
The 26-years old guard is expected to practice today with Panathinaikos and he will play with his new team this week against Olympiacos in the upcoming EuroLeague all-Greek matchup.
A BCL standout with Avellino holding the competition record with 43 points from the game against Bandirma, Sykes has averaged last year 7,3 points and 1,2 rebounds with Milan, scoring 17 points against Panathinaikos last January.
