Taylor Rochestie is very close to signing a deal with Crvena Zvezda until the end of the season, Eurohoops sources confirm.
After taking over this past summer, coach Sasa Obradovic made many changes to the roster which, while having a few combo guards ready to take any task, still seems to lack a true point guard and that is where the 35-year-old veteran comes in.
If a deal comes through, it will be the first time in Rochestie’s 11-year-long career that he plays twice for the same team. He was a part of 14 clubs.
Rochestie was named the 2015 Alphonso Ford EuroLeague Top Scorer after averaging 18.9 points and 5.7 assists. Last season, he played for Olympiacos, posting 4.6 points and 3.6 assists in 14 minutes per game throughout 21 EuroLeague clashes.
He’s got six EuroLeague and five EuroCup campaigns under his belt while he played across the globe in ten countries, winning the 2010 FIBA EuroChallenge, the 2018 Serbian League, the 2016 Israeli Cup, and the 2013 Italian SuperCup.
