Barcelona announced Tuesday that its game against Zenit St. Petersburg for Round 2 of Turkish Airlines EuroLeague (initially scheduled for October 8) will take place this Friday, October 9.
This comes as a result of the latest developments in the Spanish team, after Sarunas Jasikevicius and the team’s assistant coach Darius Maskoliunas tested positive for COVID-19 and team practices were halted until the second coronavirus test would turn in.
A couple of days prior, Barcelona had already postponed this weekend’s domestic league game against Gipuzkoa.
