Anadolu Efes star guard Shane Larkin is expected to make his 2020-2021 season debut in the EuroLeague Round 6 game of his team against Olympiacos Piraeus on the road Friday, October 30.
“On 25 October, he [Shane Larkin] will be in Turkey. We are planning for him to play in the game against Olympiacos on October 30,” Efes coach Ergin Ataman said in the post-game presser after the loss of his team to Fenerbahce Beko. Efes is down 0-2 in EuroLeague.
Larkin was the top performer and the player widely considered as the MVP favorite of the 2019-2020 EuroLeague prior to the cancelation of the season due to the coronavirus pandemic. He had 22.2 points, 4.1 assists and 3.1 rebounds before the season shut down in March.
