Johnny O’Bryant inked a one-year contract with Crvena Zvezda mts, the Serbian powerhouse announced Monday evening.
O’Bryant, 27, comes in to strengthen the team coached by Sasa Obradovic for a second Turkish Airlines EuroLeague campaign. His first stint was with Maccabi Tel Aviv during the 2018-19 season.
The former LSU standout last played for Lokomotiv Kuban averaging 13.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per 7DAYS EuroCup contest. He also produced 16.4 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per VTB United League game.
Prior to moving his talents overseas, O’Bryant competed in 148 NBA games between the Milwaukee Bucks, Charlotte Hornets, and Denver Nuggets.
His addition closely follows Taylor Rochestie’s return to the team based in Belgrade currently tied for 11th in the EuroLeague standings behind a 1-2 start.
