Panathinaikos will face Fenerbahce with a key absence.

By Eurohoops Team/ info@eurohoops.net

Panathinaikos forward and team captain Ioannis Papapetrou will miss the EuroLeague Round 5 game of his team against Fenerbahce Beko Thursday (22/10) at home. The Greek player hasn’t managed to train this week following a rib injury he suffered in the Round 4 road loss to Barcelona (15/10).

Papapetrou has averaged 12.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists in three EuroLeague games so far. He’s Panathinaikos‘ second-top scorer and leading rebounder.

While Papapetrou has been ruled out vs. Fener, guard Keifer Sykes participated in most of the last practice and will be available to play.
