Demetrius Jackson denied the reports that were linking him with Panathinaikos OPAP and TD Systems Baskonia.

Using his social media, the player himself clarified his current situation.

“This is false information. I have not spoken to either of these teams and to my knowledge neither has my representation.” he wrote.

Jackson, 26, recently parted ways with Rytas Vilnius, after starting the season debuting in European club competitions through the Basketball Champions League. His lone BCL appearance accounted for 14 points, six assists, and four steals. He also averaged 13.5 points, 5.2 assists, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.3 steals per LKL game over six appearances in the Lithuanian league earning the September MVP honors.

Coming out of Notre Dame, the American point guard was selected 45th in the 2016 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics. He went on making his way to 26 NBA games between the Celtics, Houston Rockets, and Philadelphia 76ers before opting to move his talents to Europe.
