Barcelona announced Friday that Victor Claver will undergo plantar fascia surgery, after the player and Barca’s medical staff both agreed this would be the best option.
The 32-year-old forward has played four games this season, three in the Euroleague and one in the Liga Endesa premiere. Though Barcelona has not yet disclosed the estimated time of his return, such surgery could need between six to eight weeks of recovery.
Claver is on to his fifth season with the Blaugranas, posting an average of 4 points and 2.7 rebounds in 20 minutes across 3 games this season.
