Quino Colom inked a deal with Crvena Zvezda mts for the rest of the 2020-21 season with the contract including an option for one more season, the Serbian powerhouse announced Wednesday. Eurohoops previously reported on the experienced floor general moving on from Spain to Belgrade.
Colom, 32, comes in from Valencia to replace recently-departing Taylor Rochestie. The veteran of 51 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games between UNICS Kazan and Valencia will sport jersey #55 at his new club.
His career so far apart from several stints with Spanish clubs has sent him to Turkey for Bahcesehir Koleji and Russia for UNICS. Serbia is the next stop for the Andorra-born point guard.
At 4-10, Crvena Zvezda hopes for a major improvement moving forward into the EuroLeague season. A 9-1 tally makes out the run so far in the ABA League.
