ALBA Berlin head coach, Aito Garcia Reneses is positive for coronavirus, the German team announced Saturday. He was tested Thursday.
Reneses, 74, asymptomatic has been quarantined, the press release notes adding that he is under close medical observation.
As a direct result of him testing positive, the easyCredit BBL Regular Season Round 9 games versus Syntainics MBC originally scheduled to take place later Saturday was postponed.
The next fixture for the German outlet is planned for Tuesday with Zalgiris Kaunas visiting in a Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season Round 17 encounter.
