Alba Berlin announced that the team won’t be able to count on Luke Sikma and Nield Giffey in the upcoming weeks due to a thigh and foot injury respectively.
The two players join the already absent Peyton Siva, Marcu Eriksson and Ben Lammers, as well as the head coach Aito Garcia.
Alba is scheduled to play four straight home games with the first challenge coming against Bayern on Sunday (January 3). Two EuroLeague clashes, vs. Baskonia (January 5) and Maccabi Tel Aviv (January 7), follow with the German League duel against Giessen (January 10) completing the streak.
