Zielona Gora announced on Monday the signining of Szymon Szewczyk to a one-year deal. The experienced big guy returns to Euroleague after 10 seasons (last time he participated as a member of Olimpia Ljubljana) and the team added size and quality with this move. Szewczyk has played to several countries and European Teams.
He started his career with Warta Szczecin and has also played for Polpharma-Pakmet Starogard of Poland, Braunschweig and ALBA Berlin of Germany, Union Olimpija Ljubljana of Slovenia, Legea Scafati, Air Avellino, Virtus Rome and Umana Reyer Venice of Italy and Lokomotiv Rostov na Donu of Russia. The Polish big man is also a regular member of the Polish national team.
