Real Madrid’s roster will be going through some big changes in the upcoming years and there will be a few questions already next summer.

One of those will be the replacement for Jaycee Carroll who is turning 38 in April and will very likely retire after this season. According to MARCA, a potential candidate to take his place is Crvena Zvezda’s Jordan Loyd.

The former Toronto Raptor joined Zvezda this season on a one-year deal and established himself as the team’s leading scorer. He’s been averaging 18.7 points on around 32% shooting from deep and trails only to Mike James (20.4) when it comes to scoring in EuroLeague.

Real Madrid will also have to consider the available roster spots for foreigners as Carroll has an Azerbaijani passport and isn’t counted toward the limit. Trey Thompkins and Gabriel Deck currently take up the spots but they could also be leaving the team for the NBA.
