Nicolas Laprovittola returned a positive result in the latest coronavirus tests conducted for the members of the Real Madrid senior squad, the Spanish powerhouse announced Saturday.
Laprovittola, 30, has been averaging 5.9 points, 3.7 assists, and 1.6 rebounds per Turkish Airlines EuroLeague contest so far in the 2020-21 season. At the domestic level, he is up to 8.3 points per ACB match.
The Whites are scheduled to host MoraBanc Andorra tomorrow, Sunday. Following the ACB Regular Season Round 21 affair, they will head into the EuroLeague double-game week taking on Panathinaikos OPAP at home Wednesday and ALBA Berlin on the road Friday.
Previous opponent, Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv on Thursday, saw its Winner League match versus Hapoel Gilboa Galil scheduled to take place later today, Saturday, postponed due to Laprovittola found positive, the Israeli league announced. All Maccabi players will undergo tests tonight.
